the Changing Futures Charity.
Look out for further events around the borough which will help you not only with
the EYFS but also give you the opportunity to meet and network with other childminders.

Why not create an event like this one Janet arranged?
“Local police officers visited us at home and explained that police officers are
here to help us and about stranger danger.
The children had fun trying on various police hats and high visibility jackets and
were allowed to speak to another officer on the radio.
Fun with a serious message. “

On Thursday 8th July a few childminders and children visited New Addington Fire Station. It was a fantastic experience for the children. They had a chance to look around the station, sit on the fire engine and best of all they all enjoyed soaking us all with the hose! Before we left the firemen got called out so the children were able to watch the fire engines go off with their sirens going. The firemen were fantastic and we would like to say a big thank you to them!
The event on 19th June was a success with many parents visiting the park to enjoy a day with their children. The CCMA had a stand and managed to reach lots of parents with the message that Childminders are a good choice for their children’s care. Thanks to everyone who helped.
