Positive Contribution

Laminate photos of a child’s family and friends. Cut them out in interesting shapes and use them as ‘toys’ for the children. Children can access the box and use the photos for whatever they want.

Make a family tree to find out about a new child’s family. You can include friends too.

Set up a special box for older children with toys that are appropriate for them , which makes them feel special so they keep it away from the smaller children.

Pass on CD/memory stick full of photos/little videos to parents once in a while so they can take copies. Parents can also use it the memory stick or CD to give you photos for your setting.

Laminate photos of family, friends and pets to use in the setting – great to share stories, comfort sometimes, especially little ones and the simply know each other better.
